PassPlus: The PassPlus scheme has been designed by the DSA with the assistance of insurers and the driving instruction industry. The course enables newly qualified drivers to enhance their skills and knowledge by completing additional training in certain key areas of driving.
Car Craft Drive Confident: The Car Craft Drive Confident course has been designed to assist people who find driving in certain situations daunting, scary or maybe they just want to improve there driving. Although the course is aimed at drivers with a few years or more driving experience it can also be a valuable tool for the less experienced driver.
Advanced: “Advanced” driving is the ability to control the speed and position of the vehicle safely, systematically and smoothly, using road and traffic conditions to make reasonable progress unobtrusively, with skill and responsibility.
Pre-road lessons for anyone 16 and over
If you are going to start your on road lessons in the next few months why not build your confidence and skills with our specially designed course?
The course has been designed for the student who within a short period of time will be having their first on road driving lesson; each lesson is carried out in the safety of a private track and will follow in line with DSA standards.
All training is carried out on the basis of one instructor to two students and each event lasts for 3.5 hours. The common feeling from our driving instructors is that this 3.5 hours of off road training is the equivalent of 10 hours on road training so not only will you get a head start with your on road driving lessons you could even save money.
You will receive expert tuition and the following documentation to help with your theory and hazard perception tests:

Driving the essential skills
You will learn all the processes you require for on road driving lessons, these will include:
Prepare, Observe, Move
Mirror, Signal, Manoeuvre
Mirror, Signal, Position, Speed, Look
Mirror, Signal, Position, Speed, Look, Assess, Decide, Act
You will learn how each process is implemented for each type of road situation
You will (subject to venue and ability) learn how to:
Turn left and right from a major to minor
Turn left and right from a minor to major
Deal with two way traffic
Negotiate roundabouts
You will (subject to venue) learn how to:
Bay Park
Parallel Park
Reverse round a corner to the left (subject to venue)
Reverse round a corner to the right (subject to venue)
Turn the car in the road
All training is carried out at the students own pace so it may not be possible to complete the above training in one event.

DRTL Driving Instructor course
The DRTL Driving Instructor training (ADI) course has been developed by Approved Driving Instructors and is delivered by Approved Driving Instructors.
What you get:
Part 1 home learning material
1-to-1 in car training for parts 2 & 3
You only pay for the hours you require (blocks of 10)
Full support and guidance from grade 5 & 6 instructors
Practice with real Learner Drivers*
Study at your own pace and only pay for the hours you require; it normally takes from 6 to 18 months to complete.
* From time to time we offer learner drivers who are unable to pay for there driving lessons the chance to learn for free, we then arrange for a trainee Driving Instructor to teach these customers on one of there part 3 sessions. This not only benifits the learner driver but gives the trainee Driving Instructor a taste of the real thing. These sessions are stirictly controlled and subject to the trainee Driving Instructor being at a reasonable standard.
